Sullivan's first birthday!
This is Sullivan......I met him at the Yulee Animal control, I was going there to look at another dog I had seen on their website. The dog I had gone to see was in the back corner of his cage and would not come to meet me...well.. in the very next cage was this little guy who kept putting his paw out and was whining and barking at me, the tag said he was a Boxer/Mastiff mix. I live in an apartment so I didn't think that would be a great idea. So I left without another thought about him....Until later that night I just kept seeing that little face and thinking how cute he was. So I went back on my next day off and he was still there. They said they had found him and his brother in a ditch on the side of the road. He had just gotten fixed so they said I could take him home that day...That was Oct. 2 2009
So I think Sullivan picked me that day......and he just had his 1st birthday Aug. 5. He really enjoyed his cake and ice cream!
Sullivan goes to school at Pet-co (he is in advanced classes now working towards his CGC) and his trainer, Ms. Linda suggested I look into a dog park, because he has such a high energy level (most of you have probably noticed that) So we visited and he loved it, and so did I, because he slept SO good that first night and we have been coming back as much as possible. If we don't make it Sullivan is very restless. He gets really excited when I ask him if he wants to go play at the park, when we turn down airport road he starts whining and can't sit still! He loves it there!
